For fast rising Afro swing/Afroz-pop musician, Shalom Amadi aka Bluena, the ability to switch from different genres like Afrobeat, soul, reggae and R&B, makes her a unique artiste.
Now, the Pride Rock Entertainment’s new signee has released her first single, Choose You produced by ilblackibeat.
Written by Bluena and Justice Nuagbe (Ushbebe), Choose You preaches love, harmony and trust. According to the Port Harcourt-based entertainer, who started music at age 10, the relatable things that go on daily in people’s lives inspired the track.
“I started listening to songs by Rihanna, Adele and some other artistes. At some point, I got depressed and I decided to download TikTok, and I started making covers. So many went viral and it gave me awareness on TikTok, and I decided to use my favourite colour as my brand. Ever since then, I’ve doing music,” she recalled.
Bluena, however, sees herself emerging one of the biggest female artistes, winning many awards.
