In a statement issued to commemorate the milestone, Chief Uzoh commended Governor Uzodimma for what he described as transformative policies aimed at restoring the state’s lost glory and repositioning it for sustainable development.

He specifically lauded the on-going construction of the Orashi Power Station, noting that its anticipated commissioning would significantly enhance electricity supply and distribution across the state, thereby stimulating economic growth and improving the quality of life for residents.
“I equally commend the governor for the ongoing Orlu-Mgbee-Akokwa Road project, which many people thought will no longer be possible due to the disaster caused by the collapsed bridge/erosion at Umuchima amongst many on-going projects in Imo State,” he said.
Chief Uzoh further urged Imo citizens at home and in the diaspora to use the occasion of the 50th anniversary to reflect on the state’s progress, strengthen unity, and renew their collective commitment to its continued development.
