Imo West senatorial election candidate of Labour Party (LP), Chief Charles Ahize, has lambasted senator-elect for Imo West, Osita Izunaso, saying he is unfit owing to inconsistent disposition.
Ahize in a statement, yesterday, urged senators-elect not to trust Izunaso with any presiding office, alleging that the Imo senator-elect can’t be trusted.
Izunaso is seeking the office of the Senate president but Ahize warned senators-elect to be wary of him.
Part of the statement read: “It is pertinent for everyone to be careful with … Osita Izunaso. He is a selfish and cunning man that was chased out of office as APC National Organising Secretary.
“…He betrayed then Governor of Imo State, Chief Achike Udenwa— his then boss just to be relevant. He betrayed him by refusing to return senatorial ticket back to him, a ticket given to him to hold in confidence. Remember that our people recalled him over his abysmal performance.
“He is an unstable character that shouldn’t be trusted. I am warning Nigerians especially the senators-elect not to support Osita Izunaso.”
