Says Uzodinma on vacation

The National Vice Chairman of African Democratic Congress (ADC) South East, Mr Chilos Godsent says that Imo state has been put on auto – pilot mode by governor Hope Uzodinma who is neither in the state nor has he reconstituted his cabinet.
This is even as the party said that the Imo state governor has become the sole administrator of the state as he has equally sacked all the 27 Transition Committee Chairmen .
The ADC south east chieftain who stated this on Monday in Owerri, the Imo capital said that governor Hope Uzodinma has put the state on Auto- Pilot mode while he has been away from the state in the past one week .
According to him , ” the state has been put on Auto pilot by governor Hope Uzodinma who himself is on vacation as he has not been in the state in the past one week. He has also not reconstituted the executive council of the state since January 16 when he dissolved the council . We know that the constitution stipulated 6 months within which state govermors/president must constitute its cabinet. But are Imo people going to wait for 6 months ? As I speak , nobody knows the whereabout the governor.
Continuing , ” Remember, equally sacked the Sole Administrators in the 27 councils alongside the commissioners, Special Advisers and others and as result nothing is happening right now either at the council headquarters or at the State Ministries. “
However, he alleged that Governor Uzodinma having rigged himself back into office with impunity during the 11November Imo state governorship polls feels that he longer owns the people any obligations.
” Having rigged himself back into office with brute force using the security agencies he no longer feel the urgency to reconstitute his cabinet as every important decisions at the ministries or Agencies must awaits the return of the governor who is not in the State which makes Senator Hope Uzodinma the Sole Administrator of the state.”
