Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has taken a swipe at Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, saying he lied over the recent killings in the state.
MASSOB equally accused Uzodimma of attempting to deceive the people by the way he defended his Ebubeagu security outfit which was alleged to have killed innocent and defenceless youths at Otulu town.
In a statement, leader of the pro Biafra group, Uchenna Madu, said Uzodimma has disappointed Ndigbo and Imo state, in particular, by declaring the murdered youths from Otulu as bandits and unknown gunmen.
“It is disheartening that Governor Hope Uzodimma would descend so low, without conscience and atom of God’s fear, in defending his blood sucking dogs.”
MASSOB insisted that the murdered youths from Otulu were innocent and defenceless.
“They are not criminal bandits or members of unknown gunmen; they are not involved in any criminal activities. They are responsible young men doing apprentice work in Otulu.
“Ndigbo will never forget this atrocious murdering of innocent and defenceless youths from Otulu town. Governor Hope Uzodimma will dearly pay for his insensitivity and wickedness to Ndigbo. No amount of propaganda or twisting of the truth will ever save him because nobody will believe his cooked-up stories,” the statement added.
