Imo: Ex-minister, Opiah inaugurates pro-Tinubu’s group

Former Minister of State for Education, Rt. Hon. Goodluck Opiah, has inaugurated local government coordinators of Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) in Imo State, charging them to intensify grassroots advocacy for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and the All Progressives Congress (APC) .

The inauguration ceremony which took place at Opiah’s residence in Owerri, had party leaders, former lawmakers, and stakeholders in attendance.

Opiah speaking during the ceremony explained that RHA aims to promote and defend President Tinubu’s policies, with Governor Hope Uzodimma serving as national leader.

Opiah urged coordinators to explain government policies to the people and counter misinformation, highlighting the benefits of Tinubu’s decisions, including increased revenue for states. He also warned against political complacency, emphasizing the need for continuous voter engagement.

Rt. Hon. Jonas Okeke, former Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly in his remarks at the occasion urged members of the group to justify the governor’s trust and market the president and party.
