Imo State Commissioner of Police CP Aboki Danjuma has issued a stern warning to police officers to refrain from involving themselves in land-related disputes.

In a statement released through the state police spokesperson, ASP Henry Okoye, the CP emphasised that any officer found violating this directive will face severe disciplinary action.

He also warned petitioners against misleading the police with false claims, stating that such actions would lead to investigation and prosecution.

“In line with the IGP’s directive, the Commissioner of Police Imo State Command, CP Aboki Danjuma, has issued a stern warning to all personnel to steer clear of land-related civil disputes. Any officer found culpable will face firm disciplinary measures,” the statement read.

“Petitioners attempting to mislead the Police will also be investigated and prosecuted,” it added.
