Says mischief makers will not stop APC victory

The Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Imo State Chapter, Hon Ibeh Franklin Kennedy Chukwuemeka, has said that anyone or group of persons challenging the outcome of the party’s primaries in the state is either idiotic or stupid.

Speaking in Owerri, the state capital, Hon Ibeh maintained that the APC primaries in the state, ranging from the House of Assembly to the Senate, went through transparent scrutiny that produced the best candidates for the party.

Recall that former Imo State Governor, Senator Rochas Okorocha, and Senator Ifeanyi Ararume are currently challenging the outcome of the senatorial primaries conducted by the party in Orlu Zone (Imo West) and Okigwe Zone (Imo North), where the incumbent Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, and Senator Patrick Ndubueze emerged, respectively.

He therefore wondered how such a successful, peaceful and well-accepted exercise would be rubbished by greedy and selfish people who are not sportsmen enough to accept defeat and leave APC to operate in peace.

The Youth Leader, who expressed satisfaction with the exercise, said the primaries produced quality people who are already gearing up to commence campaigns as authorised by INEC.

Hon Ibeh warned mischief makers to allow peace to reign in APC and stop acts that may pose a distraction to APC, which conducted the most seamless primary in the history of political parties in Imo State.

“How can any sensible person question Imo APC Primaries that have been adjudged as one of the best in Political Primaries in Nigeria?” Ibeh asked.

He appealed to Imo APC members to remain focused and continue to work in peace and harmony while preparing for the campaigns and main elections.

“No amount of distractions by mischief makers will stop APC’s victory in the coming elections,” Ibeh declared.
