The serene city of Owerri, the Imo State, will burst in the seams tomorrow as the All Progressive Congress (APC) holds its grand flag off campaign for the reelection of Governor Hope Uzodimma, today.
Vice President, Kashim Shettima, national chairman of APC, Alhaji Abdulahi Umar Ganduje and scores of governors and party Stalwarts will be in attendance to offer support to Gov Hope Uzodimma.
In a statement in Owerri, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba, described the rally scheduled to hold at the expansive Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri as the mother of all rallies.
In addition to the vice president, Ganduje will lead all the members of the National Working Committee (NWC) to the rally.
He said the chairman of the national campaign Council for the Imo Governorship election, Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State will lead other members to the event.
Emelumba announced that the entire state was ready for the visitors who would swarm the state for the flag off campaign.
He described Governor Uzodimma as the candidate to beat in the election given his achievements in office and his antecedents as a man who has been at the forefront for the development of the state.
