…Says 3R government is like ‘Ebola Disease without Cure’
The National Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) , Senator Samuel Anyanwu says the political alignment between the Peoples Democratic Party and the Rainbow Coalition will kick out the 3R administration in the 2027 Imo election.
He said that APC government in Imo state is currently seen as “ebola” disease that has no cure even after being quarantined.
In a statement by his Media Aide , Ikenna Onuoha , Senator Anyanwu said that only election riggers whose source has been blocked are jittery of the Rainbow coalition and called them to cover their faces in shame for disappointing Imo people .
“APC in Imo State and its leaders are afraid of PDP and the Rainbow Coalition. Their statement during the unveiling of the Door-to-Door initiative on Tuesday, in Owerri that Rainbow coalition has no basis in the state is a testament that the party and its drivers are frustrated and confused. Only election riggers are jittery over the rainbow coalition as their only source has been blocked “.
Continuing , “Imo people are aware that APC leaders in the state have been rejected and jilted. The party is currently seen as “ebola” disease that has no cure even after being quarantined.
“As a ruling party in Imo State, we had expected the administration in the state to fix all terrible rural roads, equip our hospitals with modern technology, improve the economy, raise the standard of education, dialogue with IMSU Lecturers that are on strike since three months, and provide social amenities as the state has received more federal allocations since 2023 more than any previous administration. None of these had the current government provided. The party has failed woefully with no hope of bouncing back.”
He added , “Imo people are weary of the 3R government and their tricks. It is embarrassing that instead of the administration in the state to apologize to Imo people for failing abysmally, the administration is busy insulting and provoking Imo people, making empty promises and creating unnecessary hunger. The question is, has the 3R government forgotten so soon that the bogus promises made to Imo people during the 2023 election are yet to fulfilled?
Anyanwu therefore reminded the chief drivers of the 3R administration that Imo people are not fools and cannot allow them to deceive the masses again, and advised APC government in the state to accept the fact that Imo people have chosen PDP and the Rainbow Coalition as alternative route for survival.
