Controversial street-pop artist, Portable has requested forgiveness after slapping a pastor who came to speak at his club.

According to reports, the musician was recently caught on tape slapping a pastor.

Following the attack, Portable received outrage from netizens and other preachers, who threatened to take action against him for attacking a man of God.

In a video posted on Monday, the musician addressed the criticism and ascribed his behavior to previous experience.

While pleading with God for forgiveness, he revealed that he attacked the pastor because he believed he was there to bring spiritual damage.

“My fans, community issues are different from that of the street. May God forgive me. I didn’t know he was a genuine man of God. If I knew I wouldn’t have slapped him.

“I’m also a child of God. I’m human, I’m not perfect. I am an orphan. They have harmed my sister through this same strategy.”
