The House of Representatives candidate of the Democratic Liberation Alliance (DLA) in Ilaje/Ese-Odo federal constituency of Ondo State, Hon Taiwo Ilawole has declared that his intention to contest the election was to ensure proper representation of youths in decision making in the country.
Ilawole said he desires to give the people of Ilaje/Ese-Odo federal constituency a new voice, hence his resolve to join the House of Representatives race.
The former stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state said he has a clear and unwavering mandate to break records and set a new standard for progressive youth leadership across Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency.
He emphasized that his entry into the race is not about politics as usual, but about purpose, representation and the audacity to believe that his constituency deserves better.
“This campaign is bigger than party lines. It is a movement because of the youths who need jobs and opportunities, the market women who rise before dawn to feed their families, the students whose dreams must not be deferred, the artisans who build with their hands and the fishermen whose labour sustains our coastal economy,” he stressed.
He added that “for too long, these voices have been silent in the Green Chamber. Now, it is time for those voices to be heard, to be respected, and to shape the policies that affect us directly. Let’s put party interest aside,”
He enjoined the people of Ilaje/Ese-Odo federal constituency, especially youths to support his ambition in order to ensure proper representation at the House of Representatives.
Also, Ilawole urged the people of the federal constituency to put politics aside and support the best candidate who has clear manifesto that will bring about development of the constituency not minding the political party.
