The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Monday Okpebholo, has promised to revive Bendel Brewery and ensure Ikpoba-Okha youths are fully employed.

“We will employ 500 teachers within 100 days in office as well provide pipe borne water. There will be mechanised farming, as women will be given soft loans and 35% quota will be allocated to them in my cabinet”, Okpebholo further promised.
On his part, the Director General of APC Campaign Council, Matthew Urhoghide, appealed to the people to vote for APC on the election day.

He alleged that there are attempts by a certain woman that was caught with packs of Permanent Voters Card (PVC’s) in Ovia federal Constituency and voters suppression linked to the ongoing PVC’s collection in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of the state to compromise the election.
Oshiomhole, who raised the alarm at the APC governorship rally, asked Governor Godwin Obaseki and the candidate of the PDP in the election, Mr Asue Ighodalo, to bury the act, stating that rigging cannot happen.
“Don’t dance too much and allow them to compromise electoral process by stealing PVC’s and deny you the opportunity to vote. We will defend those rights. We will do so peacefully in a civilized manner.
“Now, what is at stake in this election is much more than you can easily understand”, Senator Oshiomhole said.
