Governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Ebonyi State, Prof. Bernard Odoh, has said that education would be top in his priority if he is elected the governor of Ebonyi State. He promised to use his wealth of experience in the education sector, and contacts to bring good tidings for his people.
Odoh made the pledge while officially declaring his intention to run for the number one position in his state.
He lamented that Ebonyi State is educationally backward when compared to other states of the federation especially in the South East zone.

Aside education, the Professor of Geophysics also pledged to address other challenges facing his people. He said that he would tackle youth unemployment by empowering them with requisite skills in order to create jobs for others.
He also pledged to look into the health system of Ebonyi both at primary and secondary level of it to ensure that his people have access to quality health services among others.
He, therefore, appealed to the electorate to give him the chance to execute his plans by electing him the governor in the next year’s governorship election in the state.
