National chairman of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club, NFSC, Rev. Samuel Ikpea has commended the Edo State governor Godwin Obaseki for supporting newly promoted Nigeria National League, side, Dynamite Force Football Club with N25m and a Coaster from the state government.
He said all other governors in Nigeria should emulate Gov. Obaseki and his deputy, Comrade Philip Shuaibu for their resolve in giving attention to sports in the state, pointing out that they have become a blessing to the world of sport especially female football for the way he has being showing love to Nigeria national teams like the Flamingoes and the Falconets.
The Edo-born administrator while speaking to journalists in Benin shortly after the governor presented the gifts to the club.
“This governor is a sports loving one. He gave the Falconets N5m five after they defeated the Besetsana of South Africa to qualify for FIFA U20 women World Cup in France and now he is giving Dynamite Force FC N25m and a brand new coaster bus,” he said.
He equally thanked the state Governor for restoring the lost sport glory in Edo state even as he looks forward of having the maximum supporters from Edo that will join all other states and international chapters to cheer the Nigeria supper Eagle to victories come FIFA World Cup in Russian later this year.
