Ikhana discharged, needs further medical attention

Former Super Falcons and one- time African Coach of the Year; Kadiri Ikhana has temporarily been discharged from Irrua Specialist Hospital.

The 1980 Africa Cup of Nations winner was released at about 2:00 p.m. Friday, under strict medical observation.

This development was confirmed by Prince Harrison Jalla, who visited the Edo State born coach in Auchi yesterday.

“Thanks to the concerted efforts of family, friends, and especially his three sons and sister — Hon. Austin Braimoh — as well as Chief Segun Odegbami (MON), who has been consistent in updating Nigerians, Chief Adokie Amiesimaka (MON), the Edo State Government, and all others who have remained in touch and supportive,” Jalla said.

Jalla stressed that updates would be provided to relevant authorities regarding the next steps to be taken concerning coach Ikhana’s health.
