The executive council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ijebu North Local Government Area has declared its support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the incumbent House of Representatives member representing Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency, Joseph Adegbesan.
The party has equally endorsed Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, for the Ogun East Senatorial seat in 2027.
The Ijebu North LG APC announced the endorsements during a meeting of the local government’s party executive council held in Oru town.
Justifying the decision of the APC executives in Ijebu North, the Treasurer of the ruling party in the local government, Abolore Kasali Adesina, who moved the motion for the endorsements which was seconded by Ward 6 Chairman, Adekunle Okunbajo, disclosed that the endorsements followed a critical appraisal of the political landscape at the constituency, state and national levels.

He added that the party also took the decision to maintain what he described as good representation by President Tinubu, Governor Abiodun and the federal lawmaker, Adegbesan.
“The collective decision reflects our confidence in the track records and dedication of these leaders. We believe continuity is vital for the consolidation of the ongoing projects,” he added.
The Ijebu North APC Chairman, Mosunmola Oladipo, and the Local Government Secretary, Taiwo Adeleye, however, signed the resolution of the party announcing the endorsements.
