The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Paul Enenche, has described the Idoma Hall of Fame (IHoF) as a noble initiative that can inspire younger generations to pursue excellence and preserve Idoma heritage.
Enenche spoke on Friday when he received the Central Planning Committee (CPC) of IHoF, led by its Chairman, Chief Paul Harris Ogbole (SAN), at the Glory Dome, Abuja, who visited to formally present Enenche his nomination letter for induction into the Idoma Hall of Fame, with the ceremony scheduled for October 15, 2026, in Abuja.
Describing the initiative as consistent with biblical principles, the Idoma-born cleric likened it to the “Hall of Faith” in Hebrews 11, where individuals distinguished by their faith and exemplary lives were remembered.
“The Idoma Hall of Fame is noble. It is scriptural and can be likened to the Biblical ‘Hall of Faith’ captured in the book of Hebrews 11,” he said.
Enenche noted that Idoma people had distinguished themselves in fields including medicine, law and business, adding that celebrating their achievements would encourage younger people to strive for excellence.

“When you celebrate excellence like IHoF set out to do, you give room for others to be lifted,” he added.
Earlier, Ogbole briefed the cleric on IHoF’s vision and objectives, explaining that the initiative was established to recognise outstanding contributions and encourage younger generations to achieve meaningful success.
The Visioner, Engr Agaba Ikwue, said the initiative also seeks to promote youth mentorship, gender equity, preservation of Idoma heritage and community engagement.
He said, “Apart from the celebration of outstanding achievements of individuals who have made remarkable contributions to nation-building, the Idoma Hall of Fame seeks to establish a vibrant platform for the preservation of the Idoma heritage, community engagement, inspiration for the next generation, among other objectives.”
The visit ended with special prayers by Enenche for the success of the October 15 induction and the Idoma Hall of Fame’s sustainability beyond its founders.
