Premier League side, Leicester City may offload Super Eagles’ forward, Kelechi Iheanacho in next transfer window.
Team Manager, Claude Puel in an interview with EPL fan zone, a football programme monitored on Pay TV channel, SuperSport believed the 22 years old striker was struggling to hit top form after featuring for six minutes in their one nil loss to Manchester United at the weekend.
“We are hoping to offload some stars during next transfer window. We are not happy with some of our players. Leicester used to be a very tough team before my arrival. Some of the boys are currently performing below average.
“Our performance is not encouraging. It’s sad the former English Premier League Champions now struggle to make it top 10 on the log.
“We are struggling to improve our standard of play. The next transfer window is fast approaching; all we get do is to place some players on transfer. We are considering of loaning out some, who we believe can go learn more and gain more exposure.
“Our aim is to end well and start the next season on a brighter note. Its glaring some of our stars performed below expectations and I am glad the next window is fast approaching,” he stated.
Iheanacho was yet to hit the back of the net in 19 games in all competitions for the Foxes.
