… Ndidi heads towards free agency today
After yesterday’s final day of the football accounting period, Nigeria international, Kelechi Iheanacho leads eight other players’ exodus from Leicester City,
Apart from Iheanacho, Dennis Praet, Marc Albrighton, Tawanda Maswanhise, Paul Appiah, Shane Flynn, Iestyn Hughes, goalkeeper Arlo Doherty, and midfielder Jack Lewis are also leaving after being released.
The list of departing players does not include Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who has officially joined Chelsea on a £30 million fee.

With the players’ contracts officially expired yesterday, it means the nine players are officially saying goodbye at Leicester City.
Then there are four players who have been offered new deals. Wilfred Ndidi has been strongly linked with a move to Everton while Amani Richards has been linked with Brentford and QPR and Chris Popov and Kian Pennant have offers on the table.
As things stand, Wilfred Ndidi is officially a Leicester City player for only a couple more days. Discussions have been held over a new contract, but while there is no confirmed answer, he’s heading towards free agency from today.
