The Cold War between the Police Service Commission(PSC), and the Nigeria Police Force, may have come to an end with the visit by the Inspector General of Police(IGP), Alkali Baba, to the office of chairman of the PSC, Solomon Arase.

Alkali, who led the police management team to the office of the PSC chair at the federal secretariat monday, arrived at about few minutes past twelve o’clock and went into a closed door meeting.
The meeting which is being held behind closed door would among others discuss the frosty relationship between the police and the commission and with a view to find lasting peace.
