Basketball promoter Igoche Mark has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for nominating General Christopher Gwabin Musa as Nigeria’s new Minister of Defence.
President Tinubu, in a letter sent to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, forwarded General Musa’s name as the nominee to replace Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, who resigned on Monday.
In a statement, Mark described General Musa as a symbol of excellence and leadership. “A champion on the court and a champion in leadership, General Musa embodies dedication, hard work, and a winning mindset,” he said. Drawing on their shared interest in basketball, Mark added that the nominee is “a team player who turns challenges into slam dunks.”
