The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL), has commended Senator Orji Uzor Kalu for his exceptional dedication to the people of Abia North Senatorial Zone.
In a statement by its President General, Goodluck Ibem, COSEYL expressed astonishment and admiration for Senator Kalu’s selfless commitment to his constituents.
Ibem said: “The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders, COSEYL, the apex sociopolitical youth group in the South East geopolitical zone extend its deepest appreciation and commendation to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu for his exceptional commitment to serving the good people of Abia North Senatorial Zone.
“We were astonished to discover that, unlike many others, you selflessly use your personal funds to finance various projects that directly benefit your constituents. This level of dedication and generosity is truly commendable and deserves to be recognised.
“The impact of Senator Kalu’s work has not gone unnoticed. The projects he has supported have not only improved the quality of life for so many in his constituency but have also set an inspiring example of what true public service means. His actions go beyond the call of duty and demonstrate his unwavering commitment to the people he serves.”
The coalition noted that in an era, when political leaders are often criticised for being disconnected from their constituents, Kalu stands out as a model of integrity and leadership.

“By utilising his own personal resources to fund the road project in Ndi-Orieke community in Ohafia Local Government Area, Abia North, that has been impassable for decades, he has shown that he is leading by example and that public service is not just about policies and legislation but about making tangible, real-world improvements for those who need it most.
