In a bid to continue promotion of Igbo culture in the Diaspora, the entire Igbo Community in Mekong River will on the 8th of October celebrate the New Yam festival and Ofala of His Royal Highness, Eze Amb. Jerome Uzochukwu Ezeneche, (Eze Nwatagwuochimiri, King of six nations in Mekong River, Asia.
In a statement, HRH Ezeneche popularly known as Igwe Ten Ten cordially invite friends and well-wishers to Thailand on the grand occasion of their new yam festival/Iwa ji/Ofala which will bring Ndigbo from the six nations that make up Mekong together.
“Part of the activities lined up for the event include the fundraising for the construction of Igbo language center
in Bangkok, Thailand.
Venue is Avanna Hotels and Residence, Bangkok by 10am and it will hold under the distinguished Chairmanship of: High Chief Frank Obi Anyijiofor (Uduakommili)
