The member representing Afikpo/Edda federal constituency, Ebonyi State, in the House of Representatives, Hon Iduma Igariwey, has built a classroom block in Ebiri Primary School, Nguzu, in Edda Local Government Area of the state.
Igariwey also distributed 200 plastic tables and chairs to the school and other schools in Nguzu, including Amaiyi Primary School, Ezechi Primary School and Nguzu Primary School. Each of the schools received 50 tables and chairs from the federal lawmaker.
He said the gesture was to enhance learning and promote literacy in the constituency and complement efforts of Governor Francis Nwifuru in the education sector.

A stakeholder from Edda, Okenwa Ukah, commended Igariwey for investing in education. He said items cum infrastructure donated by the lawmaker will no doubt be of immense benefit to the schools and provide comfort for proper teaching and learning.
“I, on behalf of my family and all men of goodwill, wish to express my profound gratitude to Hon. Iduma Enwo Igariwey for this gesture; the pupils appreciate, the teachers salute, and the community is grateful.
“It is my singular wish that more of these dividends will be provided”, he said.
