Barrister Ify Uzokwe is a woman with the heart of gold.
She displayed this philanthropic nature on her 50th birthday when she paid a pre-party visitation to Modupe Cole Orphanage, Akoka, Lagos where she donated different food and gift items to the children.
Other activities to mark her golden birthday included a Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church, FESTAC, and reception party at The Dove, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos.
The amiable, high-flying Ify Uzokwe is the president, Ozubulu Diamond Sisters Initiative (ODSI); president, Women of Likeminds 4 God; treasurer, FIDA, Lagos; vice-president, National Catholic Lawyers, FESTAC; and president, Umuokpu Amakwa Forum, Lagos.
In recognition of her stewardship and service to humanity, Uzokwe has received several awards and commendations.
