Ifo LG chairman tasks new supervisors, advisers on integrity, diligence

Chairman, Ifo Local Government, Idris Olalekan Kusimo, has commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for his developmental initiatives aimed at uplifting the living standard of residents of gun State.

Speaking during the inauguration of the newly appointed supervisors and special advisers at the council secretariat, Kusimo charged the appointees to view their new roles as a call to service and emphasised the importance of dedication, integrity and excellence in the discharge of their duties. He urged them to prioritise the welfare of the people and work tirelessly to bring about positive change in the local government.

The supervisors included Mr. Olutayo Johnson Oluwaseyi (Agriculture and Natural Resources), Mr. Adeshina Adesuyi, (Community and Social Development), Mr. Wale Craig, (Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation), Mr. Seyi Ijale (Health Services) and Mr. Olanrewaju Adeleye (Education, Information and Sports).

Special Advisers are Mr. Deji Obadina, (Works and Housing), Jelili Oyatope, (Adviser on Special Duties), Akogun Oladapo, (Revenue Generation Management) and Tunde Adisa (Youth Engagement and Empowerment).

In another development, the chairman also appointed Oladimeji Jamiu Ibrahim as Personal Assistant on Media And Publicity while Olanrewaju Taofeekat Falowo was appointed as Special Adviser to the chairman.

He congratulated all the appointees and appealed to them to discharge their duties with diligence and commitment to the progress of the local government.

The ceremony was attended by the Vice Chairman, Abibat Ojo, the leader of the legislative council, Samuel Bamgboye, councillors, Secretary to the Local Government, Mrs. Temitope Adegboyega and the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Fatai Ogundele as well as directors and heads of departments.

Speaking on behalf of the newly sworn-in appointees, Mr. Wale Craig expressed gratitude to the chairman and all the leaders present.
