Bayer Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface has broken his silence after receiving a one-match ban and a €25,000 fine for unsportsmanlike conduct during their recent Super Cup encounter against VfB Stuttgart.
The German Football Association (DFB) confirmed the decision on Wednesday.
Boniface has now urged his social media fans not to make any demands over the next three months.
The fine is approximately N44 million.
“If you bill me for the next three months, I fit block you. Let’s all be guided,” Boniface wrote.
Boniface was accused of making an obscene gesture by raising his middle finger toward Stuttgart players during the post-match celebrations.
