The member representing Ovia Federal Constituency, Dennis Idahosa, former member representing Oredo federal constituency, Ogbeide Ihama, former president, Nigeria Bar Association, Olumide Akpata and the Chief Executive Officer, Tarex Conglomerates, Lucky Ohimai will on December 3rd, grace Palmer Omoruyi Legendary Concert in Benin City.

The Chief Executive Officer of Surprise Pub and Cafe and organiser, Palmer Omoruyi Legendary Concert, Mr. Matthew Evbakor Oshodin disclosed this to newsmen in Benin.

Mr. Oshodin said the concert is to honour and recognise women who are breaking the glass ceiling in their own endeavours in a man’s dominated world.

Oshodin said that the concert, tagged Palmer Omoruyi Legendary Concert, was carefully crafted to honour an Edo-born gospel musical artiste, Deaconess Mrs. Palmer Omoruyi who has over the years blazed the trail and contribute her quota to the development of the state through her talent.

He said those who sing with her and play other instruments are paid by her and this by extension has reduced the level of unemployment in the country.

He said as a man who runs an hospitality business, given recognitions to those deserving individuals should be encouraged and not when they are dead we will begin to sing their praises.

The Surprise Pub and Cafe CEO added that inviting the current serving federal lawmaker, the immediate past and the governorship aspirant on the platform of the Labour Party and former NBA president, Olumide Akpata to the occasion is to let them know that the state is endowed with both human and natural resources that can be harnessed for the well being of all.

He maintained that their presence would further encourage the up and coming artistes in the musical industry that there is dignity in labour.

He said that he is aware that the government alone cannot provide jobs opportunity for the teeming population and that, that is why the lawmakers must work with those in the hospitality business to bridge the wide gap of unemployment in the country.
