Business leaders, policymakers and industry experts are set to converge to examine how organisations and individuals can turn the pressures of rapid change into opportunities for stronger productivity, sustainable growth and measurable economic impact.
The conversation will take centre stage at the 2026 Annual Conference of the Institute of Change Management (ICM), coming on the heels of the successful 2025 edition and with a sharper focus on moving beyond simply managing change to harnessing it as an engine of business excellence, resilience and economic growth.
The two-day conference, scheduled for September 3 and 4 at NECA House, Central Business District, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos, is themed: “Unleashing Change: Accelerating Impact – Harnessing Transformation to Drive Business Excellence and Personal Growth.”
Against the backdrop of rapid technological disruption, shifting markets, economic uncertainty and changing workplace dynamics, the conference is expected to explore how strategic leadership, innovation, financial discipline and institutional transformation can translate disruption into sustainable value.
Leading the conversation is Kola Adesina, Group Managing Director of Sahara Group, who will deliver the keynote address.
Adesina is expected to examine how organisations can lead effectively through uncertainty, build high-performance cultures, drive innovation and develop the leadership capacity required to compete in an increasingly disruptive global economy.
Managing Director of Africa Prudential Plc, Dr. Catherine Nwosu, will bring a financial and investment perspective to the growth conversation, with emphasis on strategic investment, risk management, financial planning and the creation of sustainable economic and social value.
Also joining the lineup is Dr. Odunayo Ani, Director, Financial Services, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), whose participation is expected to broaden the conversation to the role of financial services, institutions and strategic sectors in unlocking economic opportunities and strengthening Nigeria’s growth capacity.
Other confirmed speakers include Jeremiah Okoh, Managing Director of Jeme Technologies; Barr. Samuel Olushola Agbeluyi, immediate past President of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria; Ijeoma Onyenobi, Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Nigeria LNG Limited; and Edidiong Ekwere, Manager, Corporate Transformation Advisory at Nigeria LNG Limited.
The organisers said additional speakers and thought leaders from the public and private sectors would be announced ahead of the conference.
ICM said the conference is designed to equip business executives, entrepreneurs, policymakers and professionals with practical strategies for navigating change, strengthening resilience, improving performance and creating sustainable value.
The 2026 edition seeks ultimately to shift the conversation from change as disruption to change as opportunity—and from transformation as an organisational necessity to a catalyst for productivity, competitiveness and broader economic growth.
