Dr. Ayebo Bolanle Francine is one woman who likes to set the pace and show others how things can be done effortlessly.

 

Beyond making a mark in the accounting industry, she is driven

by the passion to make her mark known in society and every sphere of life where her impact could be felt.

 

She came up with a model to help with the adoption and implementation of Data mining within the accounting information system and how it can help improve accountability.

 

In her words, “I believe that the world is evolving into a stage where things should be made easy for everyone, and that’s why I have come up with this model, which I’m sure is crucial to the development of our industry.

 

“For me, it has always been about making things easier for people and making the world a better place to work and live in. I just want to make my little contribution to the growth and development of the Accounting world.”

 

She further added that “It is a model move for the adoption and implementation of Data mining within the Accounting system. I’m enthusiastic that this new development will foster accountability and move the industry to greater heights.

 

“There are many aspects of Accounting that can be made easier, and I am dedicated to doing just that. Improving on already-made areas and bringing in new ideas and innovations where needed.”

 

Over time, she has developed a model to ensure the adoption and implementation of data mining within the accounting information system and how it can help improve accountability. He has amassed a significant amount of knowledge and skills in accounting, information technology, and business management.

 

Dr. Francine, a graduate of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration with a BSc in Economics, is setting the bar high with her novel findings and ideas that she believes may be used to advance openness in the industry.

 

Ayebo, who also holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and business management from Brunel University London as well as a Doctorate in Accounting and Information Technology, has worked with numerous businesses and institutions located all over the nation and in the diaspora, which led her to realize the need for this new initiative.

 

She currently works for Coventry University, where she teaches Accounting. She has worked with different institutions around the world. For her PhD, she focused on adopting Data mining within the accounting information system in developing countries, specifically Nigeria.
