Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, also known as Odumodublvck, has claimed that he turned down ‘life-changing’ money offered to him in the 2023 presidential elections to campaign against Labour Party candidate Peter Obi.

He made the assertion in response to critics who argued he had the right to demand that Peter Obi promote his record, ‘The Machine Is Coming,’ as a return for his commitment to him.

Odumodublvck added that requesting Obi to promote his album was not too much to ask, claiming that he had given his life for the former Anambra State governor.

On his X handle, he wrote, “Ask Abbas, I was offered money I had never seen to campaign against Mr Peter but I turned it down.

“Telling him to promote my new album is not too much to ask as I am not the one to seek favours. I sacrificed my life for this man.

“No wam. The Machine Is Coming.”
