Nigerian rapper Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, popularly known as Vector Tha Viper, has disclosed that he met his wife, Yinka Coker, at a nightclub.
Speaking on a recent episode of the MENtality podcast hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Banky W, Vector said his wife is “super homely,” despite the common stereotype that women who frequent clubs do not make good wives.
The rapper made the remark while stressing that people should not rely solely on societal expectations or popular advice when choosing a life partner, particularly regarding where they first meet.
“I met my woman in the club. You will not believe she is super homely. Who would have thought? What was the first attraction? She was rapping Heavy D.

“So, you can’t take advice when it comes to a life partner. The typical advice that I heard before then was that there were no good women in the club.
“I am not saying you shouldn’t take any advice, you can have a few people who give you good counsel then on your own, you can decide what works for you,” he expressed.
Vector and his wife Yinka Coker got married in a civil ceremony in December 2022 and have a daughter together.
