United States President Donald Trump says he does not plan to grant a pardon to convicted music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
In a report published on Thursday, the New York Times says the 79-year-old president declared that he has no intention to grant Diddy’s request, which came through a letter.
Trump stated that Diddy “asked me for a pardon,” and when probed for details of the request said, “Oh, would you like to see that letter?”

The president did not show the letter, but his words were confirmed by a spokesperson when PEOPLE reached out to the White House for comment.
Diddy is serving time after being convicted on two prostitution-related charges in July 2025. He was sentenced to 50 months in prison in October of the same year.
