Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has stated that she is not involved in any accidents after a false report claiming that she had died spread across social media.
The filmmaker, in a video posted on her Instagram page on Sunday, said she was neither involved in an accident nor in any danger.
“Please note that I am alive. I did not have any accident, and I am safe,” Kadiri said.
She described the reports as untrue and appealed to members of the public to stop believing or sharing claims about her without verifying their authenticity.
“I am alive and healthy,” she added.
Kadiri also asked her followers to flag accounts responsible for circulating the false reports, saying such action could help limit the spread of the misinformation.
The rumour surfaced while the actress has been actively promoting Once Upon a Village, her latest film project.
She recently released the fifth episode of the series through her RuthKadiri247 platform, with Henrietta Ibekwe and Deza The Great among the cast.
Through her digital platforms, Kadiri has continued to build an audience for her Nollywood productions while sharing film-related and behind-the-scenes content.
