‘I am turning into a monster’ –Osimhen

Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has boldly declared that he becomes a ‘monster’ when faced with defeat.

Following his remarkable performance, where he scored twice in Galatasaray’s 3-2 victory over Samsunspor at the RAMS Park, Osimhen stated to a Turkish medum, “Losing is absolutely brutal. It makes no difference if it’s on the street, at the World Cup, or in a league match… I’ve never accepted losing since I was young. If there’s a chance to win everything, I would seize it. I can’t rest after a loss. On the pitch, I morph into a completely different beast.”

“Every award and trophy I’ve earned was rightfully mine. No one handed them to me; I earned each one through my hard work.”

“My background has molded my mentality. Talent alone is insufficient. With relentless effort on the field, success is inevitable.”

“My initial time at Wolfsburg didn’t meet my expectations. Then Mario Gomez arrived. He’s a legend, one of the deadliest strikers in the world. I told management, ‘I want to stay because I want to learn from him.’”

“I studied him in training. The incredible goals he scored, his precise ball control, his pitch awareness, his mastery of the offside trap… it was mesmerizing. Training alongside Gomez was an extraordinary experience.”

“We all recognize Ronaldo’s fierce passion. Even at 40, he’s furious when he concedes a goal or loses a match. That’s the mentality we should all adopt.”
