The Eze Ndigbo Ghana, HRM  Dr Chukwudi Ihenetu, on Saturday, 28th October 2023, in the company of his Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo President Republic of Ghana  wife Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo (First Lady  Republic of Ghana ),  His Excellency Alhaji  Mahamudu Bawumia(Vice President Republic of Ghana ) and wife Samira Bawumia, HRH Eze Samuel Ekezie JP(Ezeudo Ndi Igbo Sempe), Mrs. Gertrude Torkornoo( Chief Justice  Republic of  Ghana ), Mr. George  Akuffo Dampare ( Inspector General  of Police Republic of Ghana ) Members of Parliament, Bishops, Chiefs, Queen  Mothers, among other dignitaries to attend the burial  funeral  of Queen Mother Naa Dedei Maedru 111.

The event proved  to be successful  as all and sundry  paid respect  to the late matriarch.

In his remarks, HRM  Dr. Ihenetu  said Igbo and  Ghana had good rapour, hence , the Obieziokwu  Palace , elders, and kings as well as prominent  Ndigbo  were  around to pay their respect to the late Queen mother of the Ga, State in the capital city Accra Ghana.

While condoling  President  Akuffo-Ado on the death of the Queen mother,  HRM Dr Ihenetu  said, the loss is not only for the Ghanians, but for  everyone who lives and does business  in the capital  city The Royal Father prayed for the repose of  the soul of the Queen mother while also praying  for  God to give the family  fortitude  to bear the loss.

“The  late Queen mother  is a kind and passionate  ruler. We pray that the Queen who succeeds  her will even surpass  her sterling  performance,”he prayed.
