HRM Ihenetu with His Excellency, Mr Benard
Recently, His Excellency, Mr. Eugene Bernard Holiday, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. M.L. Holiday-Hazel paid a courtesy visit to the Obiukwu Obieziokwu palace of Eze Ndi Igbo in Ghana.
They were received by His Majesty, Eze, Ambassador Chukwudi Ihenetu, Eze Ndi Igbo Ghana, and The Assistant Publicity secretary Ndi Eze Ndigbo in the Diaspora.

The Eze, who is also a Global Peace Ambassador, welcomed the distinguished guests at his Obi-Ukwu Obieziokwu palace in East Legon, Accra, Ghana
Alongside his elders and chiefs, he received the distinguished guests, the First Governor of Sint Maarten, His Excellency, Mr. Eugene Bernard Holiday and his wife, Mr. Eugene Bernard Holiday, a politician from Sint Maarten, served as its first governor following the country’s establishment within the Kingdom of the Netherlands on October 10, 2010.

Before his tenure as governor from 2010 to 2022, he was the president of Princess Juliana International Airport.
During the visit, Eze Ihenetu expressed his honour in welcoming the first and former Governor of Sint Maarten and his wife to his palace, emphasizing the visit as a symbol of the strong relations between their communities. He shared the importance of discussing investment opportunities and encouraging the Caribbean diaspora to reconnect with their African roots, thanking Mr. Holiday for his support and dedication to this initiative.
Eze Ihenetu hoped the visit would foster warmth, enlightenment, and beneficial discussions, reinforcing the friendship between their people.
At the sideline of the meeting, His Excellency Eugene Benard presented a book he wrote on leadership, politics, economy, and good governance to HRM Dr Ihenetu. The Royal Father commended him for contributing to the intellectual development of mankind adding that the book would go a long way to proffer solutions to sociopolitical problems facing the international community.
