Famous Nigerian artist David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has said that his father’s wealth made him feel broke.
Davido confirmed this during his most recent interview in Paris.
It should be recalled that Davido and singer Omah Lay attended Amiri’s Fall/Winter show at Paris Fashion Week 2025, which was held at Palais de Tokyo, on Thursday.
Speaking in a trending interview snippet on social media, Davido was asked who has ever made him feel broke despite his wealth.

Interviewer: “In your life, have you ever met someone who made you feel broke?”
Davido replied: “Yeah, my dad.”
The singer said this months after he stated in an interview that it took years for him to realize that his father is a very wealthy man.
Davido is one of Nigeria’s richest artists.
