Former Big Brother Naija housemate Cross Okonkwo revealed that he lost a business opportunity because of his outspoken Christian faith on social media.
Cross made the disclosure in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday.
The 34-year-old reality TV star stated that a potential partner refused to collaborate with him because he publicly expresses his faith in Jesus Christ online.
Although Cross did not reveal the identity of the individual or company involved, he stated unequivocally that he had no regrets and will never compromise his religion for money.

He wrote: “You are mad and don’t want to work with me because I have made my faith in Jesus Christ very clear and bold. Lol one day I will buy your company and buy everything you own. Mark my words.”
According to Cross, many people still see him as the same personality from the Big Brother Naija house, but he insists that he has undergone a spiritual transformation since leaving the reality show.
“I think a lot of people still think I’m the same guy that was in the Big Brother house. It may be the same body, face, image, but definitely not the same spirit and soul.”
He stressed that he would never engage in wrongdoing or chase wealth in a manner that goes against his beliefs, even if it means living with less.
“I will NEVER do anything evil for money. Even if I become the poorest or the brokest human being on earth,” he stated.
