For Nigerian actress and producer Precious K Charles, the road to Nollywood began long before she became a familiar face on screen.
Although she is originally from Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, Charles spent much of her early life in Jos, Plateau State, an experience she says influenced the way she understands people, cultures and storytelling.
The actress recently reflected on her upbringing in Jos, describing the city as a place where people from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds lived together.
