To celebrate the International Women’s Day (IWD) 2026, BeautybyTejj Studio and Mavin Records have joined forces to host the “Master Your Face” masterclass. The event brought 15 women together in Lagos for a day centered on artistry, self-care, and the foundational bonds of girlhood.
Aligned with this year’s global IWD theme, #GiveToGain, the event was an intentional investment in women. Beyond teaching practical makeup skills, the session aimed to instill a newfound sense of self-confidence and a deeper connection to personal beauty.
Olateju Aderonke Omoyajowo, Creative Director and Lead Makeup Artist of BeautybyTejj Studio, reflected on the heart of the collaboration: “We were striving to do more than just apply makeup; we wanted to convey the true essence of IWD—confidence, self-worth, and celebration. That is exactly what the women in that room took home with them.”
For Mavin Records, the collaboration marked the 5th anniversary of their dedicated IWD initiative. The label continues to champion women across various industries, upholding a long-standing belief in celebrating women “boldly and without apology.” By uniting the technical expertise of BeautybyTejj with Mavin’s cultural influence, the partnership reinforced a shared vision: that every woman deserves to be seen, celebrated, and empowered to show up in her full brilliance.
