Founder and general overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, has granted succour to the family of  Deborah Samuel, a 200 level Economics student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto, who was gruesomely murdered in cold blood for alleged blasphemy. Her death created a vacuum and disfigured the family, who had believed that their daughter would make them proud in the nearest future.

Deborah’s death raised concerns as many Nigerians, including religious leaders, condemned her killing in very strong terms. Indeed, people from all walks of life, including the international community and Nigerians in diaspora, among others who were aware of the circumstances surrounding the killing of Deborah, also condemned it.

After Deborah’s murder, her family was abandoned by government, rich Nigerians and the international community to wallow in their grief and trauma.

However, after watching the viral video of Deborah Samuel’s parents, where they vowed never to send there children to school again, Apostle Chinyere was moved eith compassion and decided to change the story of the family.

Apostle Chinyere took commendable action. He stood by Deborah’s family, gave them hope and wiped away their tears.

Apostle Chinyere did not just make a promise of relocating them to Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State, he fulfilled his promise.

Kenneth Nwachi said: “It is public knowledge today that the late Deborah’s parents are now landlords in the city of Port Harcourt. Apostle Chinyere bought a 10-flat mini estate and handed it over to the family. He also bought a Toyota Corolla car for her father to use for Uber business. He as well furnished all their apartments, set up a business for Deborah’s mother, offered international undergraduate scholarship to one of Deborah’s brother to study in Cyprus and enrolled others in OPM free schools in Port Harcourt.

“Not only that a man with the heart of gold made them landlords, he also offered scholarships to all the younger siblings of Deborah and gave international university scholarships to the senior ones.  Apostle Chinyere is not doing all these to be rewarded by man. God himself empowered him to do it and all the glory goes to God alone.

“In as much as Apostle Chinyere does not need any reward, it is  imperative that Nigerian government should honour and appreciate his magnanimity and benevolence towards the poor and the needy in the country.

“For instance, through his ministry, Apostle Chinyere built 20 state-of-the-art free schools in Nigeria to help reduce the high rate of out-of-school children, built the first free school for children born with autism and down syndrome in Nigeria, built 18 free estates in Port Harcourt where the poor and underprivileged live free of charge, built two free specialist hospitals in Abia and Port Harcourt basically to reduce the high rate of maternal mortality in Nigeria, built the largest multi-skills acquisition center in Port Harcourt, which has trained more than 30,000 Nigerians on not fewer than 20 different vocational skills, offered international undergraduate scholarships to not fewer than 2000 Nigerians who are currently studying in Turkey, Poland, Cyprus, United States of America, United Kingdom, Benin Republic and United Arab Emirates.

“Apostle Chinyere has contributed immensely towards the development of Nigeria. It is expected that the Federal Government, United Nations and lovers of peace around the world should  recognize and appreciate him for all his numerous contributions to humanity.”
