The Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, expressed his heartfelt congratulations to all the winners of the 19th edition of the HOS Games, which took place at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos.

Agoro emphasized that the competition has consistently fulfilled its objectives, serving as a platform for fostering camaraderie and healthy rivalry among participants. He highlighted the importance of such events in strengthening community ties and promoting teamwork.
The Grand Finale showcased thrilling football and tug-of-war events across both male and female categories.
In the Women’s Football final, State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) triumphed over Public Service Office (PSO) with a 1-0 scoreline. While the Judiciary Service Commission emerged victorious, defeating the Health Service Commission counterpart 2-1.
In the Tug of War (Male), Lagos State Ferry Service claimed gold while Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency and Public Service Office (PSO) respectively got silver and bronze medals.
In the Women’s Tug of War, Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency displayed resilience as they pipped Education District I to claim a deserved gold while Ministry of Wealth Creation won the bronze medal.
The event was further enlivened by special appearances from a musical artist and former football internationals, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The HOS Games have made significant strides in promoting inclusiveness, with a notable increase in participation from various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), alongside Local Governments and Local Council Development Areas. This growing involvement reflects the event’s ability to unite diverse groups in the spirit of sportsmanship and collaboration.
