In a statement made available to journalists, Hon. Ugochukwu praised Governor Otti for the commissioning of the ultra-modern Nnenna Oti Bus Terminal in Umuahia, describing the project as a significant milestone in Abia’s transportation transformation.

According to him, the 344-capacity bus terminal, integrated with over 20 electric buses currently operating across the state, demonstrates the administration’s commitment to modern infrastructure, environmental sustainability, and efficient public transportation.

Ugochukwu stated that the road project has greatly improved connectivity among agrarian communities, eased the movement of people and goods, and stimulated economic activities in the affected areas.

While applauding the governor’s developmental efforts, the Labour Party stalwart appealed for urgent government intervention to address the growing threat of gully erosion affecting Uzuakoli and surrounding communities.

“With the onset of the rainy season, more land will be lost to gully erosion if urgent action is not taken. I appeal to our action governor to kindly look into our situation and come to our rescue by addressing this challenge,” he said.

He also noted that Governor Otti’s developmental strides have continued to attract admiration and support from Abians in the diaspora, many of whom remain committed to supporting the administration’s vision for a new and prosperous Abia State.

According to Ugochukwu, the ongoing infrastructural transformation across the state has strengthened public confidence in the government and inspired renewed hope among citizens both at home and abroad.
