A revolutionary movement in the nightlife scene has emerged in the heart of Alimosho, Lagos Mainland, spearheaded by Daniel Ikeri, popularly known as Dr. Holly.

Every Monday night, the Hollysee Hotel comes alive with great energy and a buzzing atmosphere, all thanks to the phenomenon known as “Holiday Rave.”

Dr. Holly, the visionary behind this groundbreaking initiative, shares his inspiration for creating the Monday night party. “I wanted to redefine the nightlife space in Alimosho,” he explains. “For too long, Monday nights were stagnant, devoid of any entertainment options. Drawing inspiration from a visit to ‘Obi’s House’, a renowned establishment on the island, Dr. Holly envisioned bringing the same electrifying energy to the mainland. Despite the initial scepticism from DJs and hype-men, he persisted, eventually securing a resident DJ and hype-man, who shared his vision.

Holiday Rave isn’t just about entertainment; it’s about community empowerment. Daniel Ikeri emphasizes the platform’s role in supporting local talent, providing a stage for emerging DJs, hype-men, and artists to showcase their skills. Beyond the confines of the hotel, Holiday Rave has opened doors for these talents, catapulting them into the spotlight both online and in their respective fields.

As Holiday Rave’s reputation grows, so does its list of celebrity attendees, with the likes of Sean Tizzle, Oritsafemi, T-Classic, Klever Jay, Small Singer, and Slimcase, among those who have experienced and performed at the Monday night party.
