The Labour Party in Enugu State has directed its members to adorn black attires as the party’s campaign train berths at Ehamufu, in Isi-Uzor Local Government Area of the state, today.

Daily Sun gathered that the action was in honour of no fewer than eight people killed on Monday, during an attack by Fulani herders.

Information released to party faithful by the Labour Party’s candidate for Enugu East/Isi-Uzor Federal Constituency, Prof. Paul Nnamchi, said the directive was given by their governorship hopeful, Chijioke Edeoga, who hails from the attacked community.

Nnamchi further disclosed that the campaign would be restricted to Ehamufu Ward 2 and 4, adding that Ward 3 was being skipped because of the killings that took place there.
