The founder of popular St. Ives Hospital Group has earned a fiery reputation among both noble and common people for his dedication to the vision to see women able to conceive, bear, and take care of their children.
Bringing happiness and joy to the life of every soul obviously is the raison d’être of this notable healthcare entrepreneur’s existence. In fact, the British-trained physician was not unmindful of the support and contribution of incredible doctors, nurses and other medical and administrative staff whose dedication has fuelled his commitment to providing exemplary healthcare and turned the St. Ives Hospital brand from a humble abode of care to a beacon of hope.
For Nigeria’s leading fertility and family hospital brand, the year 2025 is one worth celebrating, both in the area of the number of families whose faces the hospital brought smiles to through conception and births and the amazing growth recorded by the hospital itself. On Sunday, December 14, 2025 at the Rotary Hall, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, Okewale was the chief host as his hospital hosted an End of the Year Party. In a grand celebration of excellence, unity, and cultural pride, scores of staff members from all branches – management, the Board of Directors and invited guests all gaily attired in eye-catching African royalty outfits that lit up the venue of the soiree. A major highlight of the event was the Awards and Recognition segment, which saw exceptional staff members honoured for their commitment, professionalism, and outstanding contributions.
A fortnight later, on Boxing Day Friday December 26, the social scene lighted up as Okewale played host to a horde of celebrities, business tycoons, politicians and other high net-worth individuals who converged on the posh Hall of Odin inside Elegushi Beach, Lagos for the lavish wedding soiree of his son, Demilade.
Okewale, the joyful father showcased his affluence and wherewithal as his very enterprising tech guru son, Demilade tied the nuptial knot in a glitzy and glamorous ceremony with his adorable sweetheart, Tolulope Gordon. The glamorous wedding started with the signing of the dotted lines a week earlier, followed by the traditional engagement and the grand reception which took place on Boxing Day at the exquisite Elegushi Beach, Lagos.
