Chairman of First HoldCo, Femi Otedola has described Chairman of Globacom, Otunba Mike Adenuga as a true African icon whose vision continues to inspire all.
Otedola said this in an X post to mark Adenuga’s 73rd birthday.
Now Nigeria’s third richest man, Adenuga was born in Ibadan, present-day Oyo State on April 29, 1953.
Otedola recounted how Adenuga foretold that he would be a “great man” 24 years ago.

According to him, the incident played out at the 70th birthday celebration of his mother, Dame Doja Otedola, in Epe, Lagos State.
He said, “24 years ago at my Mum’s 70th birthday in Epe, you said I would be a great man. Your wisdom, mentoring and guidance have stayed with me ever since.
“Today, on your 73rd birthday, I celebrate you Otunba Dr. Mike Adenuga, GCON. A true African icon whose vision continues to inspire us all.
“Wishing you good health, strength and many more wins ahead.”
