One of Jesus Christ’s teachings while on earth was showing love to one another. This exactly forms the major theme of Temitope Adebiyi’s latest flick, Hate from the Altar, which is set to premiere in USA on March 24, 2023.
The movie, which was shot last year November/December in Maryland, USA, tells the story of a young girl whose emergence as the new choir leader ofa church sparks up controversy amongst the choir members and within the pastorate, as it is rumoured that she is having an affair with her boss at work. Moves to get her removed reveal a deeper secret in the church.
Speaking, the artistic director, Temitope Adebiyi stressed the need for such a movie at this critical moment when the church that is supposed to be a house of love has been turned into a place where hatred and jealousy is the order of the day.
Starring top acts like Kike Ayodeji, Ayodeji Adekoya, Paul Tolbert, Lekan Adeiga, Kazeem Omotolani, Simeon Dan and introducing Olalani Akinyode, the film is set for premiere at Faith Dome, Maryland, USA.
